Marketing works wonders, but just because something is ‘protein-packed’ doesn’t necessarily mean it’s healthier, and in many cases, not even true!
One of the many examples is the ‘protein’ pudding in the picture. Of course, it may sound cool and tempting at first, but if you make it a habit out of checking the back of the packaging, you’ll realize that this pudding is not what it claims out to be. And unless you find it incredibly delicious, saving 1.5 EUR might be a good idea. To further emphasize my point, the pudding itself has ONLY 6g of protein per 100g, meaning this package has approximately 3.6g. Truly, ‘high-protein’.
Don’t fall for these tricks, and don’t think that one protein pudding/coffee/chips/bread/whatever-you-imagine nowadays will lead you to your goal. They can all supplement a well established nutrition plan and be solid snack options, but that plan should definitely not revolve around them. Basics first, and then everything else.
