Iva Maričić is the first woman in the history of the SpartanFit group and the second overall after Ivica Antić to break the barrier of 50 workouts! Usually, after the 40th workout, all my trainees receive a T-shirt with the official ‘SpartanFit’ logo, and after the 50th, a well-deserved dedication on our Facebook page.

There are many interesting aspects to our story, one of them being that Iva officially started training with me last year (February 8th, 2017), while I was still finishing my formal education. Our first training block lasted for 25 workouts, until the end of May. The results we achieved were astonishing. We trained briefly in November last year as well, and from April 10th until today, when we have successfully completed our 52nd workout together, Iva has been persistent and determined, both in her approach to training and also in often more important elements, such as nutrition. After going through my first program, ‘Bodyweight 8’ a few times, with special dedication to the cardiovascular aspect of training, our collaboration took a new turn. The trust I have in Iva led to her testing a part of my new program, which I will soon share more about in a separate post.

Given that she has forbidden me from writing anything personal or about her job at ‘Mlinar’, where you can all congratulate her in person, I would like to sincerely thank Iva for the trust she has shown in me, with the hope and belief in the continuation of our story and many more successes down the line.
