After two weeks of stories and various dedications on our Facebook page in regards to my four years of personal training, it’s time for the official announcement of what has changed and been achieved in the last three years regarding our gym at the legendary Matkino.
From entering the premises where nothing concrete has happened for over ten years, in terms of significant cleaning, let alone investments, through collaboration with the Handball Club ‘Selce’, a team with which I’ve been connected for 24 years now and connecting with the Karate Club ‘Tensho’ from Novi Vinodolski, to the recent capital investment that took the whole story to a higher level, I cannot express how happy and proud I am of everything that has already been accomplished and achieved, and at the same time excited and childishly impatient about everything that lies ahead and awaits us.
Ideas change the world! A small problem arises when you have too many ideas in your head, and then it’s necessary to sort them out and connect them into a larger concept, in which case we talk about visions. To achieve them, a lot of work, consistency, discipline, patience, and a bit of luck, is needed, in terms of being in the right place at the right time. And although it all started with me and most of it I literally decided, prepared, and executed on my own, which I never complained about but saw as an additional motivation, believing all the time in myself and the direction I set, the right people came along the way and contributed. No matter what you believe in I am a strong advocate that the universe, karma or destiny aligns when you work hard on your dreams. Beside the people from the two mentioned clubs, I want to thank my friends, now also our assistant coach Igor Kostrenčić ‘Pajo’ and Adriano Albaneze for their continued support, as well as everyone who, over these four years, decided to trust us and allowed me to be part of their stories and transformations. That number almost hit 50, which is impressively high for individual training setup and our local environment, which is also something I am extremely grateful and humbled by. The future is bright and holds many different ideas and concepts. When I am done I know I will thank even more people and Selce will get so many sports and fitness options that not one part of our society will be neglected. That is my promise and I am known for keeping them.
